RECORDING

Cimamusic Mix & Mastering is ready to record your project using high-quality, state-of-the-art gear, including the high-end microphones, microphone preamps and outboard gear.

MIXING

After the recording process, Cimamusic Mix & Mastering will take your project to the mixing phase, blending all of your recorded tracks to make your songs sound polished and professional, using hardware to bring that much-desired analog color to your music, as well as the latest and greatest software plugins. Audio mixing also includes fine editing such as time alignment, vocal tuning and other finishing touches to each recorded track when needed.

MASTERING

Mastering is the final stage of music production, which takes a mixed track and puts the final touches on it to create a polished, optimized sound that’s ready for distribution. Mastering involves a variety of techniques, including adjusting levels, applying stereo enhancement and monitoring for any clicks, pops, or other imperfections. Mastering makes the music louder and gives it more presence clarity. It pulls the mix together in a cohesive way that is designed for all formats – from headphones to audiophile-grade stereo systems.

INSTRUMENTATION

Are you a songwriter without a band? Cimamusic Mix & Mastering offers instrumentation for your productions, including guitars, bass, drums, percusion, strings, keyboards and other instruments to make your song complete!

MUSICAL ARRANGEMENT

Cimamusic Mix & Mastering can help you to complete your song by offering arrangement ideas and support. This includes support with everything from basic song structure to instrumentation.

FREELANCE ENGINEER

Are you making music at another studio and need assistance from an engineer? Do you own or operate a studio and need some extra hands? Cimamusic Mix & Mastering will come to you to support the recording process. (Call or email to inquire about freelance day rates.)

TAPE TRANSFERS

Do you have old cassette tapes lying around? Cimamusic Mix & Mastering can help you transfer your tapes to digital media including MP3, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, etc., as well as to CD. Do you want to transfer your media to cassette? Cimamusic can even do that! Cassette tapes tend to degenerate and lose audio quality over time. For an extra, nominal fee, Cimamusic can master your cassette transfers, adding a bit of life and reducing noise.

COACHING

Are you trying to start your own studio? Are you looking for tips on recording, mixing and/or mastering? Cimamusic offers hands on coaching to take you through this process including: basic signal flow; working with Digital Audio Workstations (DAW); microphone type, selection and placement; microphone preamps; working with outboard gear (compression, EQ, reverb, etc.); and so much more.
